The APWG Symposium on Electronic Crime Research (APWG eCrime), was conceived and launched in 2006 as a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary venue to present applied research into electronic crime, engaging every aspect of its evolution – as well as spotlighting technologies and techniques for its detection, response, forensics and prevention in every relevant discipline. APWG eCrime’s continuing goal is to promote cybercrime research by providing a venue for researchers to present their insights and innovations to peer investigators – and to publish their work. Now in its 17th year, APWG eCrime stands as the world’s only peer-reviewed publishing conference dedicated exclusively to electronic crime studies. Proceedings are published by IEEE.
